A FREE downloadable EP from our favorite easy-listening noise-rockers, Stationary Odyssey. The Terror on The Hell Loop EP is for all practical purposes a regurgitation of the Head! Foot! And The Pink Axe album, which was released in September, 2006. The album features standard versions of the Head! Foot! favorites "Terror on The Hell Loop" and "Cosmic Eddie, Oceanographer" as well as two remixes and one previously unreleased track.
Most notably, the infamous KRAMER (Ween, Butthole Surfers, Danielson, Daniel Johnston, etc.) tries his hand at a remix of "Me and You and Gummi Bears." KRAMER exposes an eerie side of the track sounding as if it is has been recorded in the echoey chambers of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Detroit natives Child Bite (who will be sharing a split EP with the Odyssey later this year) electrofy the band with their bizarre take on "Lost, Lonely and Vicious." The otherwise soothing-western ballet from the Head! Foot! album is transformed into a convulsive dance rhythm. Finally, Stationary Odyssey themselves contribute a new Theremin-heavy rehearsal track titled "Perpetual of the Retired Evermore." |
