Led by ex-U.S. Maple guitarist Todd Rittmann, Dead Rider (formerly, D. Rider) released their darkly psychedelic debut album, “Mother Of Curses” in 2009 while touring the country and gaining a reputation as a challenging and entertaining powerhouse. Releasing their follow-up, “The Raw Dents” on Tizona Records in 2011, and contributing a track ,“The Walk Slow”, to Joyful Noise’s 2012 Flexi Disc series, Dead Rider carry the torch of Chicago art-rock weirdness.
