July 18, 2009 Our favorite Philadelphia based cross-dressers are embarking on a massive tour today in support of their newly released, and already critically acclaimed album Slight Fountain. Over the next 44 days, Hermit Thrushes are taking their chaotic, polyrhythmic pop through nearly every DIY spot from coast to coast - culminating with a Daytrotter session on August 27. The Hermit Thrushes stage show has often been the subject controversy and frequently features cross-dressings, rainbow outfits, outrageous acrobatics and high kicks.
