Q: So, are the curators actually creating the music?
A: No. The curators are choosing their favorite undiscovered artist. These are artists who do not have the means to press this music on vinyl. I suppose it's possible for one of the curators to choose a band he/she has been involved with, but don't count on that happening.

Q: Are these remixes?
A: No. They are finished albums by bands you likely haven't heard of, chosen by people with really good taste.

Q: Are these bootlegs?
A: No. These are officially licensed pressings. The bands all agree to participate.

Q: Will this be the only pressing of the album?
A: Hopefully not! Hopefully the band blows the fuck up at some point and the album goes 1000x platinum. But until that happens, this is at least the first time the albums will have been on vinyl.

Q: What if I don't like the music?
A: Write the curator and explain how your taste in music is superior to theirs.

Q: Will records be available a la carte (apart from the subscription).
A: Likely yes, but not through JNR. Each band is getting copies which they may choose to sell at their shows or on their bandcamp or something. But we can't guarantee that... and we aren't planning to have any copies available a la carte.
