Description
Jad Fair (of Half Japanese), French free-rock open quartet Hifiklub, and Anglo-German musician & producer Michael Beckett (aka kptmichigan) release their debut LP, Don't Give Up. It comes as a follow up to the trio's 2012 Bird House EP.
Don't Give Up came together in a unique way: it began as a series of eighteen compositions created by Hifiklub over the course of one weekend, which were then completed remotely by Jad Fair and deconstructed/reassembled by kptmichigan. The result is the eight tracks of off-kilter pop.
