The March installment of our 2014 Flexi Disc Series came from the incredible guitar virtuoso Marnie Stern!

 

Marnie Stern's talent runs deep. Not only is she an amazing guitarist (named one of Rolling Stone's "100 Greatest Guitarists" of all time), and a frequent collaborator with our friends in Hella, but she is an expert song-crafter. For all her talent, you won't find any excessive Victor Wooten-esque showmanship from Marnie. Instead you'll find her guitar-tapping abilities woven into some amazing songs. Her latest album "Chronicles of Marnia" (Kill Rock Stars) is one of our favorite albums of last year, and her contribution to our flexi series "Is My Name" picks up right where "Chronicles..." left off.
