The August installment of the Joyful Noise 2013 Flexi Disc Series was an exclusive track from Birthmark!

Birthmark is Nate Kinsella – the incredible drummer of Make Believe/Joan of Arc, and cousin to Tim and Mike Kinsella (Owen, Cap’n Jazz, Joan of Arc, Owls, etc.). We’ve been fans of Nate Kinsella for years, but even his impressive pedigree couldn’t prepare us for Birthmark’s debut album Antibodies. Released last year on Polyvinyl, "Antibodies" is our collective *favorite album of the year* over here at Joyful Noise. So it was a no-brainer to invite him to be a part of our Flexi-Disc series. We can’t say enough good things about this band, so we’ll cut our losses and just encourage you to listen to this shit. For your own sake.

The Flexi-Disc is limited to just 1000 copies, and was only available as part of our 2013 Flexi-Disc Series.
