Stranger Cat (Cat Martino)
Though it’s quite possible you haven’t heard her name, if you’ve been paying attention
to independent music over the past several years you have almost certainly heard Cat
Martino’s voice. A few of the better known projects she’s been involved with include: Sufjan Stevens, The Shins, Passion Pit, Rufus Wainwright, and Patrick Watson, to name a few.
Cat’s new project is called Stranger Cat. She also sings on Son Lux’s new album Lanterns on the tracks ‘No Crimes’ and ‘Pyre’.
