TALK NORMAL TO BANG ON CAN
New York Times: “the current universe of do-it-yourself concert series, genre-flouting festivals, composer-owned record labels and amplified, electric-guitar-driven compositional idioms would probably not exist without their pioneering example. The Bang On A Can Marathon, the organization’s sprawling, exuberant annual mixture love letter to its many admirers, has been widely emulated.”
This year, the annual marathon features nine hours of performances by some artists who are already established & more or less acknowledged as some the most innovative, pioneering musicians of our time & then there will also be some up-and-comers.
And most importantly–did we mention?–Talk Normal is playing.
